BREAKING: PRESIDENT BUHARI REQUESTS TRILLIONS FOR SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent Supplementary Budget Proposal to the National Assemly requesting N2.557 on Tuesday.
The six-page letter contains the request from the President for the approval of the supplementary budget for petrol subsidy from July to December 2022.
The letter was read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila in their respective chambers.
The President, in the letter, stated that the proposal was to cover some of the issues in the country, especially that of petrol subsidy which was worth consideration.
He also asked that the National Assembly review the Finance Act 2021.
