Beneficiaries of the Katsina SPW Support Tinubu, Radda

The 34,000 recipients of the Special Public Works Scheme (SPW) of the Federal Government in Katsina State on Sunday supported Dr. Dikko Radda for governor of Katsina and Bola Tinubu for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

They are hopeful that the APC flagbearers will implement comparable social intervention programs intended to aid the country’s underprivileged residents.

The intent, according to Ubale Yusuf Nalado, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the SPW beneficiaries in the state, is to return the favor shown by the Federal Government.

“As you can see, it’s a political support association. They benefited from president Muhammadu Buhari’s social intervention program which has yielded results in Katsina State.

“This is an indication that they are trying to reciprocate the gesture given to them by the Federal Government. I am sure that this is the first of its kind in the country.
