THE HEADIES 2022; WIZKIDS BAGS SEVERAL AWARD (SEE FULL LIST OF WINNERS)

The 15th edition of the Nigerian music award, the Headies was held on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The event was hosted by American actor Anthony Anderson and Nigerian actress Osas Ighodoro.
Winners from different category were awarded , including International Artiste Special Recognition which was awarded to two great artistes, Akon & Wyclef Jean.
Wizkid led the nominations with ten, Tems and Ayraa Star with eight each, davido and Adekunle Gold received seven each. The Songwriter of the Year category included in the 2020 edition of the Headies, was renamed to Best Song Writer of the Year, in the 2022 edition.
Winners include WIzkid, Tems, BNXN, Olamide and many others.
